Well, I just updated my deviant art, so um, I think it's time to update my journal. So far, so good actually as I just got through midterms (pretty good) and I'm still practicing as hard as I can on sketching characters out and working on it. I won't be posting my sketches up, but I will be posting some ink drawings in the not too distant future.
just take a lil bit of patience...and well a red pencil in my case...but any art, american or anime is typically the same. Most of the components are the same...so it's a real good idea to get a good hand on normal drawing. But I do try to do my best, as these are alpha sketches for characters in the dojinshi...so I try really hard not to mess up on the ink phase, and I have done so in some of them. Minute mistakes, but noticable. Which reminds me, I should buy a thinner gel point (much thinner than .7 mm, probably .5 mm will do the job, it did well on maria and rachael)

thanks, I just took a look at your gallery, impressive computer finish...something I truly hate (too time consuming eh) I should upload some more of my deviations and stuff...later though

I've spent a year working on computer, it's a little easier than it used to be, it takes practice that's all and patience, and the will NOT to DESTROY your computer when it freezes and you lose a picture you've been working on for 2 hours!!!.....o.o I'm ranting again...my apologies...
I'm lazy with it, but I need to stop being lazy with it, if I want this manga to work out. I mean...photoshop is powerful, and I really don't have to use tones and stuff for drawing, I can just scan my image, upload in photoshop, use the pen tool and go to town in essence. I'm actually falling in love with this, and also I'll probably be making a site about the project (probably with the release of chapter one, sometime next year) so keep out on my deviant art. I should be posting most of my art, traditional and computer art, here

Cool! I think that's great you're working on a manga! I am too...well sort of...i'm writing mine out in novel form first! 140 pages already ! go me! But I'm perfecting my skills a little before I attempt to start with pen...When you make a site, be sure to tell me!
